Welcome to the Functional Cure blog! On the homepage, we talked about ‘Why the Functional Cure,’ and on Philosophy we looked more in depth on what makes us tick, what gets our gears turning. This blog section of the site is one of those places where we are putting that philosophy to work. Each entry we will look at some facet of life, an exercise, a diet, a supplement, -anything, so long as it fits our criteria of simple and natural methods of fighting and/or preventing the illness that afflict us.
Each of these entries are meant to be a seed for growth. For instance, next time I’m going to be talking about the popular Paleo Diet. If it is something that interests or might help you then I hope it has been beneficial and you’re able to implement it and lead a happy, healthy life. These are not meant to be prescribed steps of which you must follow all or benefit none, if they were then by the end of the year you’d be doing 50+ things to fight illnesses you may not suffer from. That’s hardly a simple approach. Rather, this is a library of possibilities, of which you are the only decider on whether it is right for you or fits with your current goals or difficulties. If the subject matter is a new variant of an exercise that currently practice, then maybe switching it up will see your body get stronger. If it is a dietary approach to combating, say hypothyroidism but you don’t suffer from any sort of thyroid disorder, then it might not be the necessary step for you.
That’s a whole big wall of text, sorry about that. It just felt necessary to get across what exactly this blog space is so that you, the readers, can maximize the benefits you reap from it, and we, the author, can get our points across with the best understanding. With all that decided, we’ll be back next time with a look at one of the more popular diets out there right now, The Paleo Diet.
